A Little Background
In 2013 I wrote my first article on how high-intensity exercise can mitigate the effects of the aging process (read that article HERE). The article was specifically for personal trainers and how they can design exercise programs that help their clients improve their fitness levels as they age.
Since 2013, I have followed the published studies on how exercise effects aging and applied the science to develop workshops and education content to teach personal trainers how to help their clients use exercise to control how they age. All of that went into Ageless Intensity, my book on how strength training and high-intensity interval training, can slow the aging process.
The book was published in 2021; since it came out, I have delivered numerous talks on the subject of the book, both to fitness professionals and general consumers. This video was shot at the Rancho La Puerta resort where I have started a longevity program to help guests learn how to develop the habits that could extend their health span.
This was shot from my ipad - admittedly the audio has a lot of room for improvement, but I’m posting it because it does provide a good overview of how you can use exercise to enhance your life.
